A security deposit is a refundable amount held during your lease term to protect property owners from damages. The typical deposit equals 1-1.5 months of rent. Upon lease termination, your full deposit is returned within 30 days, minus any legitimate deductions for damages beyond normal wear and tear. You can track all your deposits in the "My Deposits" section of your dashboard.

Security deposits are refunded within 30 days of lease termination. We send an itemized statement showing any deductions (if applicable). The refund is processed through your original payment method. You can request an early refund or inquire about the status through the Deposits page in your renter dashboard.
